Pros

+ Free lunch. + Above average pay. + Some nice people. + Good growth story for your resume + 401k match

Cons

- Work/life balance is nonexistent. If you have any other commitments in your life - to family, children, or significant other - you will be seen as a negative. Even if you work 60 hours, you'll be questioned for not answering a Slack at 3 AM on a Saturday, even if you are on PTO (true story). - Zero strategy other than "win" and "be the best." Leadership preaches teamwork but only care about their own success. They demand loyalty but give none. Good luck expecting a compensation or equity discussion. - Use and abuse all employees. Manic work environment. Kissing up to leadership is the only way to survive. Smart people leave on their own, competent employees get canned for voicing opinions. They are happy to take your ideas and say goodbye. - Product leadership is going in the wrong direction entirely. Every launch goes poorly and is judged by social likes. Product has been completely leapfrogged by big competitors. While the business looks like it is going in the right direction, but it's fraying everywhere. - Unethical leadership. Actively lie to employees and customers. Equity package is built on false assumptions and rigged against you. No HR and no compliance in place. Check your paycheck. Document everything.

Pros

- Lots of winning. - Hard feedback is always listened to, and a good number of times actually followed through and implemented. - No company is perfect, and there are always areas of improvement. But certainly those areas aren't the ones being mentioned here on glassdoor in the 'cons'. If you are a serious person interested in winning, you should actually take the 'cons' that people are complaining about here as signs of validation that HeyGen is doing something right. You should want to go somewhere brutally intense. You should want to go somewhere where things move so fast it can be hard to keep up. You should want to go somewhere where people are working 9/9/5 + weekends. Otherwise, there is no chance the team will win. If this is not you, that's ok too. There are tons of lifestyle jobs out there that are a better fit.

Cons

- Poor job of hiring in the past, as evidenced by some of the salty glassdoor reviews you can see below. We are improving in this area though. - I think some of the reviews here mentioning poor transparency around career growth is a valid point of feedback. But i'd also add that this is extremely team dependent and a middle management issue. Not an executive management issue. Just do your due diligence before joining.
