It’s a grind. They incentivize you to sell products that don’t work very well while they take a big percentage off the top. The you have to create this facade that the products are actually working for the customers. It’s mostly BS. Products can sometimes be good but really only if the sales rep is constantly working to make them better. Back office didn’t do much other than set it and forget it which is awful. You end up having to micromanage your clients accounts essentially doing what should be 2 jobs at once.
As far as commission, they would fluctuate your it based on your previous 3 month average. Want to take vacation? Get prepared to be knocked down in the commission tier and make less money. The most successful sales people are ones that either are ignorant to how bad a lot of their products are, or simply don’t care and are willing to play the game. Solid job for a young kid out of college first starting out to get a taste of corporate sales culture but overall it’s not good.
