Pros
Adequate insurance benefits, good opportunity for someone who needs exposure to and/or enjoys cold calling business to business. Name recognition. One can make a moderate living, but, as in many of today's sales environments, very high pressure to perform with minimal support.
Cons
Requires high pressure sales approach, products overpriced and underperforming, requires considerable windshield time and 20% overnight travel. Minimal reward for performing.
