Pros

The people are nice. Flexible schedule. 401k matching (at the time of writing this)

Cons

There is no room for advancement unless you are at a management level or a stellar sales rep. Exceptional work ethic is not rewarded. There are no bonuses outside of the sales team/management, minus a free hour of PTO or discount on company merch. Not even x number of years of service comes with a reward bonus. Mandatory company appreciation events are awkward. Referal bonuses are highly taxed. Highly disorganized and lack of training and communication across multiple departments. Nothing is standardised, every department does their own thing their own way. Many departments don't know how to use the system and tools they have or how other departments operate/know if they exist. Training is basically non existent. Management does not know how to/is not required to know how to do the department's job functions. They do not pay competitive salaries and the quality of company benefits tanked exceptionally in the last 5 years. You will be required to work on projects well outside your job description for no increased pay, or title change or raise come quietly review. Company is a revolving door for anyone not located in Cedar Rapids, IA. Mass layoffs happen about once a year, for the last 5 years across all departments. Prior to the pandemic, office life gradually grew less and less. A lot of empty space. Upper management does not know employee names, even after years of working together. Company relies on decades old software/technology to do work. Refuses to pay to upgrade, or forces you to pay out of pocket to use current software without reimbursement. Work provided tech/equipment is bad repurposed/ used equipment. IT for hardware is incapable of fixing even basic issues. Software issues for IT are outsourced. King of Prussia, PA office downsized considerably in the last 5 years from hundreds of employees to maybe less than 50 on site (prior to the pandemic) KOP will likely close permanently within the next 2 years.

Pros

reat place to work! They truly care about their employees and create an environment where people feel supported and valued. The managers are amazing—they encourage you, challenge you, and push you every day to grow and succeed. It’s a team that genuinely wants to see you win.

Cons

I would recommend doing a little more research and qualification before passing leads over to the reps. Some leads are labeled as ‘hot,’ but after speaking with them, they often don’t have the urgency, need, or buying intent expected. A stronger qualification process would help the sales team focus their time on opportunities that are truly ready to move forward.

Pros

autonomy, product is seemingly good

Cons

Overall a terrible sales org, commission structure is nonsense and very low percent of reps are on the high tier, including reps that are top performers being on the mid or low tier commission. You are responsible for prospecting, closing, and account management so job gets harder the longer you are there. Force you into long meetings so the VP can show everyone Christopher Voss masterclass videos that are irrelevant. Sales contests where the reward is literally 5 dollars. Training is completely disconnected from how the job actually is, even down to the tech stack they teach you. Sales planning does nothing and does not provide any new leads or any sales tools that work. They do not even have a list of discovery questions to provide you. No one uses any of their provided tech stack you just have to figure out your own processes with no support. Very low base salary which they will lower if you get put on PIP. Extremely unstructured PIP program with no concrete numbers or explanation for how to get off of PIP. Extreme favoritism at the managerial level.
