Extremely Negative Environment - Director of Marketing High Point University Employee Review

Extremely negative and toxic work environment. Low pay for faculty and staff. No work life balance at all. The only people that matter at HPU are Nido and the VP’s. So student focused and when I mean student focused, students with money, complain they bend over backwards. It is all about money coming in. It’s all for show. Nido bucks is a tax write off for the university. Managers do not get to know their staff. If you work hard nothing - if you don’t do your job nothing. This school is ran more like a business and the bottom line. More students more money. Faculty and staff have no direct input. Majority of Managers take ideas in one ear and goes out in the other. No real growth. To be honest waiting for the opportunity to get out once this pandemic quits.
