Pros
they put on a good show and to their credit, alot of people fall for it until they are on the inside and see the reality.
Cons
Their M.O. is all a façade. They claim "people first" but its all BS. they will squeeze every ounce of work out of you until there is nothing left, then throw you to the curb, despite your loyalty, dedication, hardwork or how perfect your record is. The only people they are loyal to are the very few that have been with the company since the early days and share a common nationality with the founders. And be careful not to get on the bad side of the relatives of the EC president. the nepotism is strong in this company and will be used against you. ***One person I know asked to take a temp leave so he can work on his marriage and was told "No" and to "man-up". ***Another, a tenured GM, was told that they are "too old...Arash wants someone younger" to become GM of one of their lifestyle properties, despite this person being extremely qualified and capable of operating it. Though it is a necessity in this company to be connected operationally when not on duty, Highgate basically expects you to work at work, then work from home in the evening. Esp if you are in HR. They give you more properties then you can handle, spread you extremely thin, will email you at 5PM to create reports that take 4 hours to compile and need them first thing the following morning, and look to reduce your pay when you say the workload is too much. the company lacks diversity. they will take advantage of you in any way that they can and not do what is right. If any perspective ownership is reading this in regards to potentially having Highgate manage your property: be warned, their pro-forma is never achievable. Its all a lofty sales pitch, then will spin reality when they can't achieve the goals.
