The salary...tho I was overworked so it doesn't matter. Really no pros. That's the reality of it all. Read the cons and you'll get why.
Cons
Provided NO training for classified staff, have no trust in staff, trust only management. Management is condescending, backstabbing, disloyal, and uncaring. My supervisor had NO experience in regards to supervising others. She made me feel 100% uncomfortable all the time. Constantly blamed me for her mistakes, put me down in front of other coworkers and managers, micromanaged me ALL THE TIME, wanted to be cc’d on emails just so she can micromanage me, was NEVER happy with the work I did, lied about the work I did and took responsibility as if she had done it, lied about my performance. Ultimately she wanted me OUT from the moment I stepped in! And she finally did get me out as I had to chose bw probation and quitting. Oh...and the best part is I had less than a week to make that decision because well...NO ONE CARES! Did I mention that I worked day and night (and weekends!!!) Of course that was never acknowledged! She made me feel worthless and depressed. And why did I stay for that long? Because I had bills to pay... The amount of emotional distress this woman caused me will always haunt me. I should have filed a lawsuit!! Good luck to her other employees!
