Pros
Honestly, I can't think of any - at least not anymore. I used to, but those days are long gone since the Holmberg and Ray era.
Cons
1. Total lack of trust. One cannot trust anything that comes out of corporate executives' mouths at Highmark. They will lie to you straight-face. When one asks a reasonable question to draw attention to a flaw in leadership, the immediate response is, "Perhaps you do not belong here." They seem to think they are immune from being questioned. 2. No loyalty. They will look for any excuse to get rid of senior personnel and bring in two college students who they can mold into their mentality. Almost like the company is being taken over as in Invasion of the Body Snatchers. 3. No concept of morale-building by leadership. In fact, I feel quite awkward calling them "leadership" because the executives have no concept of that. 4. If you are looking for a company to grow with, I'd stay away from Highmark because under the current regime, it's not going to last much longer - guarantee it.
