Pros
Depends on the area that you work whether stress is high or low. They are willing to train. The emplpyees are great. I always had plenty of friends. Good bonuses. Fair pay.
Cons
Demanding at times. Not much direction given at times. When they cut back, watch out. It's across the board. Benefits have been scaled back over the years. I received better health insurance with my spouses employer who contracts with Highmark than as an employee working for Highmark. Highmark is a government contractor so management will force government mandates on it's employees like with the Covid shot whether you wanted it or not!
