No life/work balance - Management expects employees to VOLUNTEER to do extra work while still doing overtime to keep up with the regular work.
The Environment is HIGHLY toxic, and the management is extremely hostile. Any dissention labels the employee as a problem and this will lead to termination.
Extremely high turnover rate, which management refuses to take seriously. When questioned, Management responded that the turnover rate is lower than the national average. Meanwhile, lots of good people are leaving and the amount of knowledge has greatly diminished. Management attitudes are that anyone is replaceable.
Layoffs in the middle of a project, even of the person with the most knowledge, will not affect the project in any way. The remaining people have to do the work of the people that were eliminated as well as doing their own work.
I was an IT professional and was re-orged into fixing claims. My whole career was disrupted. Management tried to tell me I was still doing the same job. When I argued, I was told to look for a new job.
