overall ok company to work for - Member Advocate Highmark Health Employee Review

I was very disheartened by the blatant bias and acceptance by management of trainers who openly attacked conservatives and Christian beliefs. During my training the trainer themselves engaged in discussions with our training class about anyone who is conservative is someone not to be respected, trusted, or tolerated. We were also subjected to hearing all about their personal lgbtq relationship which I found to be ahighly inappropriate topic for a professional environment. It is not relevant to disclose your private sexual encounters in the workplace with an entire training class then go on to fully condemn anyone who is a Christian conservative. While I never made it known that I am in fact a Christian conservative, I had no choice but to endure daily the attacks on my beliefs. This was HIGHLY unprofessional and should not be acceptable behavior by a training supervisor no less! I treat everyone regardless of their private lifestyle and beliefs with respect and I expect the workplace to atleast show some level of standards. I hope this was an isolated issue and not a broad representation of the company culture but I'll never know because I decided after dealing with that for months I could no longer stand to work there.
