Pros

Good benefits, nice people to work with. First of all, when I read some of the reviews, some people gave it a one star. Those people must be very mad about current management. Anyhow, I think if you have been working for any company more than 5 years, the company deserves a at least 4 stars. As far as this company goes, in general sense it is a great company. I have been to many companies. This company does not treat you badly, not that bad anyway You got great health benefit (for now, it is free and low cost to choose from), you got Bonus every year. 401k matching,as much as contribution you want. You got a raise too.. not much 2 to 4% average. If you are lucky, you may be in a department that has travel opportunity or growth opportunity for you. But this company does not give you any pension plan or stock option.. Yes, many individuals think the management is poor, maybe for some department, but if you can work in this company, you will notice many people have been working for so many years, that proves how good this company is.

Cons

Sometimes too much regulations in certain area. Some departments do not tend to treat people fairly (I guess it is everywhere). No pension or stock options, Vacations are standard, 2 weeks after a year. No Christmas party (just free luncheon )And you really cant take 1 month vacation if you want. Management prohibit form doing that. Also, this company is also hiring lots of temp people which I think it may not be that great

I cannot think of even one pro to working at Hikma.

Cons

Hikma is run by Jordanians who instill FEAR into their employees. They only want people whom they can control. Keep your mouth shut if you have any concerns or be prepared to be retaliated against i.e. "retaliation" in the guise of "restructuring."
