Pros

There are few good things I will mention in this company... I would like to mention good benefits first. 1. Days off - you get almost every single holiday off 2. PTO - if you work more than 5 years, you get at least 5 weeks off. max is like 6 weeks off. you can't easily get that anyway 3. Medical used to be free, but now you need to pay some. Better than most companies I know off 4. No need to fill out time card or punch out time card every week if you are exempt. You only need to report it when you take days off. If you are non-exempt, then you need to do it every day. 5. Pay is okay depending on your position., also get bonus 6. WFH - because of corvid, and if your position does not need you to be there, you can work from home practically every day. Unfortunately, many people don't have this advantage.

Cons

1. Not enough growth opportunities.. dont expect you will get promoted if you work hard. 2. Beware - some managers are very demanding.. 3. Layoffs are coming.. if you work too long and make too much.. your positions are not secure. I know a few managers who worked long time and all of a sudden they get terminated, the reason is "Restructuring". However, after a month, they hire same position back. Guess what, i bet that position will be paid less than the previous one. (they have to give severance pay, those replaced positrons have to be less pay) That means .. the job may not be as secure as you may think.

Pros

I cannot think of even one pro to working at Hikma.

Cons

Hikma is run by Jordanians who instill FEAR into their employees. They only want people whom they can control. Keep your mouth shut if you have any concerns or be prepared to be retaliated against i.e. "retaliation" in the guise of "restructuring."
