People are beginning to hide in the beareaucracy that comes with being a large company. Instead of learning new skills or taking care of a task, emails just get forwarded. Strong talent is overlooked or burnt out. Unqualified managers abound just because they've come up with the company. Poor performers are threatened generally, but due to the cost of teaching someone new the Hilcorp way, they are allowed to keep their position and hinder everyone else's development.
