Pros
Super flexible. Never going to have to work over 40 hours a week, if that. Positions are usually siloed enough that you are never over worked. The benefits for a fortune 500 company are insane. The PTO is fantastic.
Cons
- Because everyone is siloed a bit, people sometimes overlap when a task comes up that doesn't quite fit anyone's role - C level execs have run off half of IT. They have made it very clear they are not interested in promoting current staff, but rather bring new people in. Not rewarding your workers means half of them will leave and that is what happened. - the organization favors rockstars and allow them to do whatever they want in an almost bullying fashion.
