Pros

There are some genuinely good people working here that are trying to serve the clients.

Cons

Seem to treat employees as disposable, with a blatant disregard for keeping their word. If you are working here and travelling, make sure you stop travelling before you give notice - it has been several months and I still have not received expense reimbursement for travel on my last week there, and it is impossible to get anyone who seems to care.

Thank you for your feedback. Transformation is a tough process. As a company we are seeing improvements but are also experiencing growing pains as a result. We know any and all success experienced as a company comes because of the incredible, talented individuals who work here. They are not disposable to us. Making cuts is never an easy (or wanted) task, but sometimes necessary. While we appreciate the desire for advance notice on company actions, sharing that notice to all employees would have a significant impact of productivity. We want to assure you that Hitachi Consulting is working diligently to make transitions with the company as smooth as possible whether in or exiting the company. We appreciate the flexibility and adaptability that employees have shown throughout this process. We will continue to seek out methods to increase communication and solicit feedback throughout this organization. Thank you again for sharing your concerns, it helps us become better.

Pros

Decent pay, average benefits, some autonomy to get things done

Cons

The entire leadership group that I was hired under was gone within 18 months and replaced but far worse examples. Micro-managing and then threatening corrective action plans as a means to force out those who they didn't like or earned too much. From a technology perspective, the storage products are average and inline with competition, but with far fewer reps in the field and no real marketing or inside sales to speak of, Hitachi Vantara is largely irrelevant in the Storage industry now.
