      Pros

      If you are terrible, it does not matter. This is not a meritocracy. Lot's of big meetings full of people that add no value if you are lucky, negative value if you are not.

      Cons

      Not a meritocracy. Most employees are C, D or F listers. Very political. Software solutions are immature (think something between slide-ware and a science project). Dishonest with customers.

      Pros

      Decent pay, average benefits, some autonomy to get things done

      Cons

      The entire leadership group that I was hired under was gone within 18 months and replaced but far worse examples. Micro-managing and then threatening corrective action plans as a means to force out those who they didn't like or earned too much. From a technology perspective, the storage products are average and inline with competition, but with far fewer reps in the field and no real marketing or inside sales to speak of, Hitachi Vantara is largely irrelevant in the Storage industry now.
