Pros
Good Benefits, good colleagues, and great individual contributors.
Cons
Lack of Vision and Strategy from Senior Leadership. Add to this the incompetence of middle management to execute on the poorly laid out strategy. Management is always in a "vacation" mode and their is no drive to succeed or lead the company to success. They lay low, do not communicate, do not appreciate ideas, provide no feedback, and are just feeding off of the parent Hitachi company. Answer to almost any big decision is mergers and acquisitions or some form of divestment (which are poorly executed as well). They will either fire you or make your job difficult and boring so you quit. Serious lack of feedback taken during exit, shows they do not care about employees or the company's future. All in all, the company is operating in a rut, waiting to just die out (making money only for the management in the process). If you wish to have decent, fun, exciting career, do not look here.
