Pros
If you are customer oriented and love meeting new people, working for the HIE family is a great way to do that. Constant interaction and networking. Also, since there are so many IHG hotels, you can pick up and move to just about anywhere and still have the same job.
Cons
Employee happiness is directly correlated to the manager/owner. If they are not good people, it creates a chain of poor performance. Happy employees generate happy guests. Good management generates happy employees.
