Pros
Gained valuable hands-on experience in a fast-paced work environment.
Cons
Leadership from the top of several departments created an unnecessarily cutthroat work environment. Many management decisions appeared to prioritize short-term objectives over employee retention and morale.
One of the most concerning patterns I observed was that several employees with 20+ years of service were terminated around the time of their annual performance reviews. Whether intentional or not, it created a perception that long-term loyalty and experience were not valued.
In addition, many of the support departments operated in a way that fostered hostility rather than collaboration. Communication was often poor, accountability was inconsistent, and the overall culture became increasingly toxic. If you're considering working here, be aware that your experience may depend heavily on your department and leadership, as the organizational culture can be challenging.
