Hologic is a good company - Patient Service Representative Hologic Employee Review

The Biotheranostics merge for this department. The department I work in is very unprofessional and I'm going through alot being an over 50 yrs old African American female working here. I'm sure Hologic wouldn't allow the things that Biotheranostics is bringing to their home. This dept is full of friends, family members and unprofessionalism. The work load is unfairly distributed due to the unprofessionalism and vendictive employees who are actually very lazy and abuse their "power" if you will. Again, I'm the only African American female in my department over 50 yrs old and this is very hard. So much evil, hate, laziness and harassment. Again, I'm sure Hologic doesn't play this, but I have already complained multiple times and no one has done anything about it. The phones are heavy in this department and sometimes I have to deal with very hostile patients which is frustrating enough. When co-workers are rude and try to bully me it makes the work day very hostile and negative. I have tried over and over again to transfer to a different department and they won't let me. Now the excuse is you have to be with our company for 6 months in one department before we can transfer you. And during my management meetings, I have to hear about how others have been abused and treated unfairly so I need to just suck it up because it will get better.
