Pros
It's a pretty good job. starting pay is i believe $11-$12/hr now. My store is pretty understanding and flexible. I enjoy how I've learned how to do so many different things in the past year of working there. I really love my job. It's the best job I've had so far. I've learned so much about myself and became a valued member of the team.
Cons
Some cons of working there are the cut hours. Because of this we're often under staffed. And that can be pretty distressing when you're closing a store with 3 people in the entire store. It's not enough. We need at least 5-7 people to make sure the store is all picked up and ready for the next day. The cut hours also have many employees looking for other jobs, so pretty soon we'll be even more understaffed. We can't work in this type of environment and still be productive to the company's standards. Not unless something changes and we're scheduled more hours in the week. I've been on the schedule 1 time each week the past two weeks not including when i was called in because so many people are calling out.
