Pros

As other people have told me, nice people, but I personally haven't met any.

Cons

Negativity and no help to new hires. If you are unlucky like me, you're stuck on a line full of rude people for a year (if you make it that long) Practically beg you not to quit during the welcoming process but are quick to stab you in the back when you realize they didn't actually prepare you for anything. You start with two processes, no matter what, even if you understandably can do one or both, they will not move you off that process... Line leads who just leave you on your first day to go chat with their buddies on your first day and then chew you out when you inevitably mess up. On your first day!!!

Pros

The best company I’ve ever worked for hands down. Alabama really is behind the times on pay and benefits in my experience. Honda in Alabama is an exception to that rule. We work a lot of hours, especially in my role, but that’s great for me personally. One of the best work environments I’ve worked in (AC in plant), great cafeteria, etc. There’s even a free gym down the street for employees. Besides the great pay, great pay progression, and plenty of overtime, this company goes above and beyond to provide great insurance, 401k, production based bonuses, 2 scheduled shutdowns per year, and pto. More than that, the culture at Honda is centered on building up the associates in any way possible. I’ve genuinely never worked for a company like this, and hope they continue improving the culture they’ve created thus far.

Cons

Can be congested at times, there are a lot of people in there, but that’s just par for the course. Also, leaving and entering the parking lot is pretty wild sometimes.
