Pros

Great colleagues trying to work to the best of their ability regardless of the circumstances. Due to the implementation of lean and 6Sigma throughout the company, Honeywell has been able to build a strong reputation for quality products.

Cons

Several years of reorganizations, furloughs, layoffs, and managements refusal to fill key positions have negatively impacted the company's once strong culture. Employees all over the U.S. have been forced to do more with less, have had multiple changes in leadership, and have watched their colleagues be RIF'd all around them. The mission and vision is no longer clear.

Pros

Dedicated professionals to allocate responsibilities; clear learning objectives; opportunities to assist engineers in the field.

Cons

Upper-tier management is a bit disorganized. Nobody seems to know what was promised in our contracts. Our scope is a bit vague sometimes.

Pros

Interesting product offerings, learning both global and domestic industry, ability to climb the ladder and have career growth if you work hard. Great people within the business.

Cons

Honeywell corporate culture is very negative. They don't really care about employees, and many executive level managers will ask for things that require late night and weekend work. There is very little work life balance, and no cross training so you still may be contacted or expected to pitch in while you are on vacation.
