Pros

You get to be a big fish in a small pond (management) The pay can be pretty good depending on how stressful your job is The employees are usually nice They try to make the employees feel valued

Cons

If you are looking for an hourly position - the plants are NOT climate controlled, expect to sweat The southern plants have a very "good ole boy" mentality. There's a lot of favoritism If you work in maintenance you will work overtime every week, these machines are old and need a lot of love Unions produce a lot of drama
