Pros
pros are you get to see kids grow and get to make a positive impact on their lives you meet amazing people who have the kindest souls also it’s in facility care so bcbas are there 24/7 for your support provide you with uniform shirts
Cons
- not equal treatment - they are only “allowed” to downstaff(or send you home) once a week but will do it more(therefore making you not full time) - they might ask you to commit fraud and lie on session notes(for insurance) to benefit them or cover their mistakes(which puts you at legal risk) - management has talked horribly about rbts and bcbas in front of other rbts and bcbas - ^ which this adds to the extreme drama problem. this job is about helping kids, but there is constantly drama and people speaking horribly about one another. weekly meetings include management just talking about the drama problems, while they are the ones contributing or starting them - if they don’t like you or you threaten them with morals i’ve seen multiple people get bullied out of their jobs - lack of communication - horrible with handling the pandemic - the company seems to care more about the money than the kids - only one 15 minute break during a 8-9 hour shift to eat
