Pros
You get to fly the E175 with a crew that stays together. AAG Company values are evident daily. Crews are kind, prioritize safety and do the right thing. I’ve met many remarkable people at Horizon! Supportive management and they want you to succeed in training. Bases in PNW, and layovers in fun places with lots to explore. We are part of AAG, so we wear the same uniform as Alaska Flight Attendants, with the same medical and flight benefits. Horizon flight attendants are guaranteed an interview with Alaska through the pathway program. I’m very happy at Horizon and plan to stay for the long term. With the merger with Hawaiian Airlines, it’s an exciting time to be part of team AAG.
Cons
Horizon is in contract negotiations and the starting pay is low at this time.
