Pros

Local management saw potential in me and trained me into a leadership role that set the scene for my career today.

Cons

Associates that were formerly managed by The Witness Group before Hotel Equities took over these properties kind of got screwed in terms of pay and benefits. I would have stayed with this company if the employees were more fairly treated. Witness was a tight-knit smaller company. One day into the transition with HE, and it seemed like we were thrown to the wolves. No one cared anymore.

A really positive and supportive place to work. The people make a big difference. There’s a strong team culture and a lot of support across departments. You can tell the company cares about developing talent, and there are real opportunities to grow if you’re willing to put in the work. Leadership is accessible and open to ideas, which isn’t always the case at larger companies. It also feels like the company is heading in a good direction and continuing to evolve.

Cons

We're growing, so sometimes things can feel a little like processes are still catching up. You might have to wear multiple hats depending on your role, which can be a pro or con depending on your perspective.
