Pros

Pros: Could be good for new sales reps with 0-1 years of experience. It’s a job where you can learn about performance reviews/stats and how to read a script.

Cons

There is zero growth or opportunity. This company only cares about script scores. Not the client or the employees, everyone is just a number. Your enrollment rate goals and commissions are impossible to control (or decipher). The company takes, takes, takes: 1. Time: you cannnot leave your seat unannounced 2. Draw backs on commissions earned if client cancels. Commissions and pay very low to start. 3. Must work saturdays and holidays or holidays until late evening EST. 4. Low managerial or leadership direction. Didn’t feel like a sales job, felt like a script reading job or telemarketing. Very low sales acumen and sales professionalism/experience. 5. Terrible pay and commission structure 6. Taking demos that are not in your group, class, or department due to low staffing 7. No time or structured meetings regarding product and product value 8. Unpredictable shift time changes

Pros

Great people below executive level that want to do their best work. Full remote work. Working with customers that actually make a difference in the world.

Cons

Hustle culture without the hustle pay. Way below market salary but executives expect top company output. Fear based. Executives pivot every week, if not multiple times a day and it creates immense thrash. CTO is completely disconnected from day to day work, talks in abstract most of the time, and when they do mention something about actual work, it's completely disconnected from the reality of people doing the work. Top talent has been steadily leaving the company. Process is whatever the executives decide that week. The current product is mediocre at best and most attempts from talented people to make it better either are ignored or when agreed upon, the rug gets pulled out from underneath a couple months later when the executives get cold feet. If you want to work at a company and make a difference, this is not the place to do it. Promotions and pay increases are non-existent unless you work 14+ hour days, amplify whatever the current executive flavor of the week is, and put your head down and just execute on someone else's poorly planned ideas. Everyone is pretty miserable currently and most people are only still there because the current job market is not great.
