Pros

Very big district with plenty of schools to choose from. Some of the worse and some of the best. Paid holidays and breaks are so good. The connections and relationships you build with the students is absolutely priceless, especially after they graduate. (You really get to see how you have an impact)

Cons

The random observations that happen every week are nerve recking. I felt like I never fully relaxed until I have had my observation. Sometimes it could be someone you don't even know who is from the district. Depending on leadership, you might never hear "good job" no matter how great you are doing. Leadership might not recognize your accomplishments in the classroom, but at least your students will let you know in the most unexpected ways. Oh my goodness, Professional Development, some of the day long meetings are so pointless

Pros

At an EAS school, there is more autonomy. It is not so microamnaged. Free Pre-k for your kids. Available bonus pay through PFP model.

Cons

Not much coaching happening at EAS schools (for a first year teacher that may be difficult). Not all elementary schools have Pre-k so your kid may not attend the school you work at. I am finding out my new salary on THE DAY I RETURN TO WORK. Crazy.
