They give lots of time off. There are processes to resolve interpersonal problems. They promote fair treatment of their employees. Harassment and workplace bullying is discouraged. There is opportunities to advance. Compensation and benefits are average.
Cons
Raises are not as good as commercial companies. The school district is funded by the city and state which is subjected to cuts. The district does not contribute extra money to retirement plans.
