Pros

The vacation day allotment, two weeks for Christmas, one week for Thanksgiving and Fridays off during the summer.

Cons

Nepotism and cronyism at its finest. Not everyone is held to the same standards AT ALL. Department staff constantly faced counterproductive, negative reinforcement by management. As a marketing communication specialist, I desired to be creative in my position but all of my ideas were shut down and I was directed to produce "template" like work. If you thrive in a creative environment, this organization is definitely not for you. Major decisions were rooted in dysfunction, we were moved to 3 different buildings in the span of a year with no explanation. The management team handled internal issues of work harassment in the most dismissive and incompetent manner. They ignored several legitimate claims by staff causing mistrust and a HUGE division between staff and management.
