the work-life balance for Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) needs significant improvement. The criteria for earning administrative time place unrealistic expectations on APPs, making it difficult to achieve a sustainable workload. It is especially discouraging to work alongside physicians who have more attainable criteria for protected administrative time, creating a sense of inequity that negatively impacts morale.
