Pros

lots of cutting edge technology. Large network and a big budget, so always working with a lot of the latest networking and network security equipment.

Cons

poor communication and teamwork with different departments. seems that departments compete against others to try and look better. This causes people to undermine the other departments instead of helping them out, which in turn hurts the company.

Pros

Working in a large government facility. Pay was pretty good.

Cons

Catty behavior from main superiors. They act like high school mean girls. Between their attitudes and ignorance, it was impossible to learn anything from them. HR treated college interns like elementary school children. It felt more like a field trip chaperoned by micromanaging kindergarten teachers than an internship for adults. They also can't seem to communicate without a big Barney smile plastered on their faces, no matter what the topic is. "Metro is so great," reminders every step of the way.
