Pros

Lots of good people, made some close friends

Cons

Management is terrible, they treat drivers bad from day one. They don't care about their people. Pay is very low, about $17 after training, top pay is only $22. Revolving door philosophy, they don't care how many people quit as long as they got new people coming in. Terrible schedules, no breaks. Very unfair how they handle accidents, they will always try to blame the bus driver for it even when the other person is clearly at fault. Health insurance is expensive. Have to work 70 hours a week to make a decent living. They screw you over any chance they get. Cheat you on your paycheck, constantly had to get them to fix mistakes more than once. I worked there a year and a half, several of the people hired with me didn't even stay 6 months. I left and it's the best decision I ever made

Pros

Working in a large government facility. Pay was pretty good.

Cons

Catty behavior from main superiors. They act like high school mean girls. Between their attitudes and ignorance, it was impossible to learn anything from them. HR treated college interns like elementary school children. It felt more like a field trip chaperoned by micromanaging kindergarten teachers than an internship for adults. They also can't seem to communicate without a big Barney smile plastered on their faces, no matter what the topic is. "Metro is so great," reminders every step of the way.
