Pros

The coworkers are one of the warmest and most supportive I've encountered at any job. One of the perks is free train and bus transportation.

Cons

The hours can be long and taxing, especially on the operation side. This is one of the most stressful and mentally draining jobs I've had.

Pros

Working in a large government facility. Pay was pretty good.

Cons

Catty behavior from main superiors. They act like high school mean girls. Between their attitudes and ignorance, it was impossible to learn anything from them. HR treated college interns like elementary school children. It felt more like a field trip chaperoned by micromanaging kindergarten teachers than an internship for adults. They also can't seem to communicate without a big Barney smile plastered on their faces, no matter what the topic is. "Metro is so great," reminders every step of the way.
