Whatever you do, just avoid the development office. I never worked in that department, but over the years I'd heard nothing but terrible things about that team (specifically the head of the department), and I couldn't believe they were actually act the way that they did. Don't try to get a raise because it won't happen and don't try to advance your career by asking for a title change after multiple years in the same position because that also won't happen.
