Pros
The English Language Institute was extremely well organized. We had many adjunct instructors and management was very supportive in terms of resources and materials, training, and mentoring. The instructors were creative, generous with their time and ideas, and helpful. The full-time staff was fantastic.
Cons
The nature of being an adjunct is low pay and few to no benefits. This job, despite how great it was, was no exception. Additionally, the nature of teaching requires one to take work home. Here, too, no exception.
