Pros

Digital pro-sumer cameras and editing equipment. Teaches beginning photographers and editors to work quickly in a time-sensitive environment. They had Christmas parties at country clubs--expensive-looking.

Cons

Bad environment for women with sexual harassment so pervasive that there was one successful lawsuit against parent company and more complaints pending against subsidiary. Women paid less than men. Women treated like they are incompetent. Women not recognized or compensated for achievements that men are. One woman still waiting for a performance review for 5+ years. Poorly maintained equipment including vehicles and 11 year-old microwave truck. Bad tires, bad brakes--no union and cheap management.

Pros

Great cross-team training. Professional and friendly working environment.

Cons

Low pay. The chance of becoming a full timer can depend on circumstances and "luck". Some people can be very unprofessional and rude.
