Pros

Biggest pros for me: 1. I have full autonomy to do my work how I see fit as my manager has put that trust into me. 2. The entire team is very easy to work with and we have meaningful conversations in regards to the work we're doing and providing feedback. 3. Outside of the team, others that I work with in parallel to my role are easy to work with, though it may take time to get back to me, which is fine. 4. I do feel that the company cares the employees and their well being. 5. For me, I am 100% remote/wfh in my role and the flexibility I have along with the work/life balance has been amazing. I'm not as stressed in this role as my previous role, though I made an effort to keep that work life balance that when my work day was done, anything work related is turned off. But at Hudl, I don't really have to worry about handing anything off or wait for someone to take over something for me to leave. In my situation, I've had to take multiple half days as there were some personal matters to attend to and my manager has always been "Thanks for letting me know, see you when you log in." I've only been at Hudl for 8 months so far, but with how well these last 8 months have gone, I see myself staying here for quite a while!

Cons

There are times where I do reach out to another person or team to investigate or do something from my findings and I either get an extremely delayed response or no response at all. However, that is addressed by my manager. I just give them the names and then he handles it so I can continue moving forward with my work.

Pros

-Positive Business Outlook: Users love Hudl and it's a very forward-thinking product that has a great place in the future -Values-led culture/norms: People are at the heart of how we operate -Very talented overall workforce: Our bar on hiring is super high and performance management process works if there are clear underperformers. -People genuinely get along with each other for the moist part - far better than most organizations with huge silo walls.

Cons

-Decision-making bottleneck at exec-team level with some pretty hands on leaders in the weeds on too much. -Some teams are quite top-heavy, a poor micro-culture on the team, and have less accountability than they should (Finance/Accounting specifically) -We can settle on talent in key roles that is in a key hub where we have an office since less remote hiring is approved.
