Pros
My co-workers were awesome! So knowledgeable and helpful! I learned a lot about 401k's!
Cons
Workloads are very heavy for everyone. I was afraid to open my email or listen to my voice mails because you have clients constantly yelling at you because something is broken, missing, unpaid, overpaid..... So they have valid reasons to be upset. As a CSR you're just a first line punching bag, making excuse after excuse for what has gone wrong and it becomes inexcusable very quickly. Clients are overcharged by thousands for months on end and when you submit to get refunds you are told to figure out how much they were over charged by the very people that over charged them. Problems that should belong to specific departments fall on the CSR's because we have to figure out which problem belongs to which department and you have to guess and submit tickets based on the problem and if you get it wrong, you won't know about it till 4 to 6 weeks after you submit and the problem has snowballed into something ridiculous.
