Pros
The center helps coordinate the scheduling and handles parental communications, allowing focus on the academic support. Rewarding to teach students and make a difference. Management is also supportive of the tutors when students have behavioral issues. Flexible availability.
Cons
Scheduling is flexible, but the cancellation/no-show of students makes the pay less consistent. Work hours aren't the regular 9-5 because students get out of school late, so expect to work around late afternoon to evening hours, or have limited hours.
