Pros
Most (not all) know how to cultivate an enjoyable, personable atmosphere, managers are approachable and supportive, the Huron name is building presence in the industry, knowledge sharing is abound, successes are celebrated, opportunities for training and professional development are strengths. If you have the ambition and the competence, there will be opportunities for you to take advantage of.
Cons
Compensation is fine but not impressive for the industry. Aggressive growth in recent years has forced the company to hire new analysts that may not live up to expectations (but many are also rock-solid), still learning how to take advantage of experienced hires, project experiences can vary so much depending on the client, executive team, and project location. As with all consulting, the travel can become tiring.
