Great bens. All industry experience counted towards seniority. The people were great and committed, unknown now with who is left. Lots of good learning opportunities.
Cons
They are destroying the IT department. Husky had a bad rep within the IT industry years ago and had been slowly improving. In 2015 leadership informed the department of potential outsourcing but told staff they were going to be careful and targeted and would keep staff informed. The comment from the CIO was leadership had all be a full outsourcing organization and none of them were interested in doing that. After missed deadline after deadline we were told outsourcing was on hold. Meanwhile, quality contractors and staff in key positions were let go without consulting the business. in 2016 IT was outsourced to various providers. Again, the business was not made aware and the transition was a mess. The promise by the CIO leadership was not interested in full outsourcing seems to be untrue.
