Pros
Some good people there, great head office location, pay on average with industry. Would recommend only because in these times, any job is a good job.
Cons
CIO "manages upwards", ignores IT and those under him except as strategic political pawns. Average front-line workers won't care and he won't influence their work; senior IT workers involved in decision-making and/or strategy will be constantly used as body armour until they are fired or move on. They've recently followed the herd mentality and have been out-sourcing their entire IT
