Pros
Occasionally a delivery will pop up that allows you to get out of the store. Also you can meet some pretty unique customers. Sometimes a training will be scheduled that allows you to learn more about your position. The only reason i stayed in my position was because I liked the customers.
Cons
They don't value their employees one mistake and they fire you to maintain their "image". A friend of mine was fired because he ended up on the news in a less than stellar fashion it also in no way affected his ability to work. I was fired because i made a simple mistake. Upper level management has a thing for playing favorites they kept an employee on for making the same mistake i did. They also tried pushing the blame of their mistake onto me. The department managers constantly get pissy when you take your scheduled by law break. The company also doesn't like giving out raises I was there for a little over two years and never got an annual review. They'll also keep you at the minimum level of hours so they don't need to pay you benefits. Department hours are constantly being cut so staff is always overwhelmed and underappreciated. HR management is also completely useless in resolving any issues that arise. For your own mental health stay far away from this company.
