Pros

Money Money Money Money Coworkers

Cons

Management is treated so poorly they pass it down like frat rules hazing. “If I did it you have to.” Nobody works there long enough to know how to make a schedule let alone manage or help any of the employees.

Pros

I had a great experience working as a contract recruiter with Hyatt during a particularly challenging hiring market in 2022. The recruiting program was innovative and well-executed, and it was exciting to be part of a creative solution to help fill critical roles during a difficult time. I enjoyed partnering with a variety of teams across the organization, and everyone I worked with was collaborative, supportive, and genuinely committed to finding the right talent. It was a rewarding experience, and I'd gladly work with Hyatt again.

Cons

The only downside was that, as a remote contract recruiter, I didn't have the opportunity to visit the hotel locations in person. I think spending time on-site would have provided additional insight into each property's culture, operations, and staffing needs. That said, given the nature of the contract role and the geographic scope, I completely understand why that wasn't feasible.
