Pros
The pay was competitive for the market. On-site food services. Plenty of free parking. Decent health coverage. Occasional remote work is acceptable. Some casual entertainment is available, like pool and ping-pong.
Cons
Some teams have poor culture. An expectation to be in the office for 12 per day, and then to log in remotely from home at all times, even on weekends is ridiculous. I've seen many people asleep at there desks and completely worn out. Attrition is very high because people don't want to live in that kind of environment. Even if your extremely productive, leaving after 8 hours warranted critical remarks like "oh, leaving early today?" or " when you get home, can you log on, I want to send you a task to complete tonight". The work life balance does not exist. At least on my team it didn't. Oh, also the extra hours of work are all done with zero overtime pay.
