Pros

competent colleagues, interesting projects, nice office

Cons

Slow career progress in the Research team, although management speaks about how the company encourages employees' growth. In practice, it doesn't. It takes years to have contact with clients or manage projects, although in Government or other similar companies graduates get such opportunities after 1-2 years. As a result, many talented young researchers have been leaving the company after 1-3 years. Chaotic and unprofessional style of project management by most PMs whereby the only people in project teams who know what is actually happening in the project are the PM and PD. Team members typically get involved on 1-2 tasks sometimes months after projects have started and especially junior people end up, as a result, working on 3-4 sometimes even more projects at the same time. Management seem to be fine with this style of project management, though. Lack of recognition and low salary. Bonuses are rarely awarded. Unclear path to promotion and lack of support from some managers
