Overwhelmed and undervalued - Research Analyst ICF Employee Review

We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience, and we’re sorry to hear someone passed in your family. ICF expects people managers to create an environment that considers everyone’s professional and personal needs. It’s also important to discuss and set reasonable expectations with your team—when should people expect to be online, what are the core hours of work, and what are the expectations of work in the short and long-term. Consulting certainly has its challenges when meeting client expectations and most contracts have a set number of hours of work that cannot be exceeded. While meeting these demands is important, taking care of ourselves is a top priority. We hope you documented an audit of your time or discussed contract modifications with your manager to be transparent about the change you needed.
